Here are five very important questions to ask your insurance company:

  • What is the start date of my cover?
  • What is the name of my plan?
  • Do waiting periods apply to my policy at the moment?
  • Is there an excess/shortfall payable by me to the hospital on the day of my treatment?
  • Am I covered for my treatment ? E.g I am having Orthopaedic Surgery in Barringtons in two weeks time, am I covered for this treatment at this time?

Our Admission Team will gladly help you with any insurance queries that you may have. The Admission Team can be contacted on 061 490532/533. In instances where there is an excess or shortfall on your policy, you will be required to pay this on admission to the hospital.

We have listed below the most popular plans with the Health Insurance companies which gives the relevant excess/shortfall which applies. It is worth noting that these plans are up to date as of 01 July 2011.
